The LOFT Has a New Location!

To better serve the LGBT community of the Lower Hudson Valley, as well as reduce operating expenses in these times of economic instability, The LOFT has relocated to a new space. The LOFT’s new location is on the campus of the Memorial United Methodist Church on Bryant Avenue in White Plains, a five minute drive from the previous location. This LGBT-friendly church was originally designed to accommodate a school, and it is in this wing of the campus The LOFT will now be located, which includes its own separate entrance.

“The church is well known within the LGBT community for its welcoming and accepting outlook,” says LOFT president, Jean Marie Angelo, “as well as its commitment to civil rights causes, including our fight for equal rights.”

The LOFT's new address is 252 Bryant Avenue, White Plains, NY 10605, and its telephone numbers remain the same. “The space itself will allow us greater versatility in room placement for our groups and meetings,” Angelo noted, “and is perfectly laid out for a community center like The LOFT.” Members and visitors to The LOFT can expect new and improved services and benefits that come with the new location:
