The LOFT Appoints New Executive Director
The board of directors of The LOFT has appointed David Juhren as its new executive director. Juhren not only brings years of non-profit and management experience to the position, but has demonstrated commitment to the LGBT community. "David's professional background in non-profit administration and his knowledge of LGBT issues make him a great asset for The LOFT," says Jean Marie Angelo, president of The LOFT.

The LOFT Has a New Location!
To better serve the LGBT community of the Lower Hudson Valley, as well as reduce operating expenses in these times of economic instability, The LOFT has relocated to a new space. The LOFT’s new location is on the campus of the Memorial United Methodist Church on Bryant Avenue in White Plains, a five minute drive from the previous location. This LGBT-friendly church was originally designed to accommodate a school, and it is in this wing of the campus The LOFT will now be located, which includes its own separate entrance.

The LOFT Lower Hudson Valley LGBT Center Celebrates 25 Years It was a sold-out house at THE LOFT LGBT Center's Royal Jubilee on NOvember 6th, as more than eighty LOFT members and friends attended the event. The LOFT, located in White Plains and serving Westchester, Rockland, and Putnam counties, is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
