Located in White Plains, New York, The LOFT is a not-for-profit, community-based organization serving the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered community of the Lower Hudson Valley. Offering over thirty programs, services, and special groups, The LOFT works to further the cause for inclusion, diversity and pride through education, advocacy and celebration. The LOFT was formed in 1983 when individuals from the Gay Men’s Alliance of the Hudson Valley and the Lesbian Task Force joined forces to create one organization. Today, because of the foresight of these brave pioneers, The LOFT continues to serve the LGBT community of The Lower Hudson Valley.
