LOFT News and Happenings

Ray Terone

Raymond Terone

Ray joined the LOFT when he moved from the Bronx to White Plains in 2002 as a means of making new friends.  His first involvement was in the Men’s Discussion Group and Out and About Dinners.  He is a Manager, Tax Compliance for Sumitomo Corporation of America and has served as LOFT Treasurer for the past five years.

In addition to the Treasurer role, Ray has supported the LOFT by attending and working at social functions and fundraisers like Tea Dances, Boat Cruises, Pride Picnics, and our 25th anniversary Jubilee.  Ray cosponsored two friendraisers at his condominium party room, and has supported the LOFT in advocacy work by participating in Equality and Justice Day in Albany, tabling at New Paltz Pride, the Clearwater Fesitival, and the NYC LGBT Expo. Ray is also a member of the LOFT Benefit Bowling League.

This year Ray will expand his role and involvement by running for President. Ray has a deep commitment to the LOFT and our community, and asks for your support.
